Robert Bauval was born in Egypt in 1948. He completed his building engineering studies in England at the University of the Southbank (1969-73). In 1983 Bauval developed the Orion Correlation Theory (OCT) and published his first paper in 1989 in the Oxford Journal Discussions in Egyptology. His first book The Orion Mystery (1994) was a No.1 bestseller and is published in over 25 languages.
