Gnosis, like all occult terminology has multiple meanings and interpretations. This could mean personal knowledge of the divine, or of the experiential knowledge of good and evil. With that in mind, this is a tour of the dark side of Gnosis, of the baptism of wisdom and the alleged patron/patroness and tutelary head of Scottish Rite Freemasonry – Baphomet, and the knighted order which is suspected to have worshipped it.
